On September 13th, 1978, the RAMONES were guests in the TV-studios of Radio Bremen. It was the first TV-appearance of the band in Europel. For the at that time successful TV-series MUSIKLADEN they played 25 titles in about 50 minutes and left an ecstatic audience. Here is this unbelievable appearance - unabridged with all encores for the first time on Vinyl LP and DVD.
For the band it must have been quite a shock when they entered the stage at the TV-studio of Radio Bremen. Although the slightly ragged backdrop of MUSIKLADEN was okay to Joey, Dee Dee, Johnny and Marky Ramone, this was not valid to the main group of the audience. Styled and bored people sat in front of the stage as if they were a leftover from the last Baccara gig. Joerg Sonntag, today director and editor, former assistant of Mike Leckebusch, remembers in an interview (bonus-title on the DVD) that the night before the concert he strolled around the bars and pubs of Bremen and gave away free tickets. Therefore at least a part of the audience consisted of punks and rockers. The RAMONES did not taken aback due to this affected audience and played their concert with high professionalism and lots of fun. The performed songs came mostly from their first two albums. Finally they succeeded to leave an overwhelmed audience. For the American punk legends this first TV-appearance not only meant hard work but also the final breakthrough in Europe. Sireena Records now is publishing this gig with all encores for the first time on vinyl. The DVD with this legendary concert is included and comes with the album.

6’10 is the folk/bluegrass incarnation of Tobin Bawinkel, frontman for Celtic punk stalwarts Flatfoot 56. In comparison to the hectic sounds of his other outfit, this is a more subtle journey through heartfelt and emotional journeys against the backdrop of ukulele, acoustic guitar, mandolin, and snare-brushed rhythms. Bawinkel speaks on the stripped-back sound and inspiration for this new endeavor: “There is nothing as vulnerable as a punk lead singer having to give up his distortion and volume to be laid bare in front of a crowd with just his wit and raw guitar playing. I wanted to revisit sounds from my childhood and return to simpler culture, one without pretension. The album has an overall theme of travel and journeying. Since I pretty much have lived the majority of my life on the road, this topic has a lot of symbolism for me.” Bawinkel and his company of three fellow band members are currently a part of the Smithwicks Pub Rock Sessions tour.

Marco Serrato is known for his projects Orthodox, Jacob and Hidden Forces Trio. Visitors was the brain-child of French producer/composer/genius, and enfant terrible Jean-Pierre Massiera. In 1974, he recruited a group of nineteen musicians (most notably jazz violinist Didier Lockwood, who made an indelible mark on Magma's 1975 live album), to record his latest compositions. Massiera had been impressed by violin-fronted jazz-rock acts such as the Mahavishnu Orchestra and Jean-Luc Ponty. He decided that his new psychedelic nightmare should be a concept album on the theme of extra-terrestrial contact. It is a truly startling mix of prog, psych, fusion and zeuhl elements, with complex arrangements and grandiose vocals. Massiera kept the basics: keyboards (Hammond organ and mini-Moog), guitar, and rhythm section. That said, he also insisted on a type of vocal polyphony, with voices singing in unison or performing call-and-response echo effects in the style of Vanilla Fudge. To push it further, Massiera peppered the album with special effects. Samplers were non-existent, which meant that he had to transfer location-recorded “found sounds” onto the master-tape by hand! The Visitors album which resulted from this musical alchemy is a dark and doom-laden psyched-out masterpiece: other-worldly, with outer space violins, burning guitar leads, layers of lysergic organ, and twisted choral voices creeping up on you from behind the shadows. It’s hardly surprising that it has attained cult status around the world!

One of the "holy grails" of Indianapolis private-pressdom (surpassed only by Zerfas and Anonymous) available again in its original format! Ray "McKay" Pierle and his musically-adept brothers and friends partied, jammed and partied some more on Indy's south side throughout the mid-70's, forming a band (Loos) which managed to garner zero media attention at the time. However, Ray's trusty Teac fourtrack was always close at hand and countless hours of home recordings were induced onto magnetic tape, as well as a few songs laid down at a local studio. After a brief hiatus, the core members reconvened as McKay, and created their sole document, the 300-press "Into You" album (1978); the LP was given to friends and family and consigned in nearby record shops. A mere 15 years had to pass before the collecting world discovered the highly-personal songwriting, tight playing, and not-so-well-hidden West-Coast stylistic touches. A vinyl reissue was locally produced back then but it's long gone, so here's a new all analogue, master tape edition for a new generation to savor.

In the 1970's in Chile, recording anything was complicated. The state-owned IRT label was administered by the military. Domestic releases gave way to an invasion of foreign music. At most, a Chilean group like Santa y su Gente (Santa and his People) could hope for one appearance on television, or a very low-key event—this was the reality of the music world after the coup. Few groups had the good fortune to overcome the prevailing censorship: this was the case with Santa y su Gente (Santa and his People). Santiago Salas was a percussionist stepped in jazz. It was he who assembled a band with musicians of the caliber of Lautaro Rosas and Mario Lecaros. The latter was a powerful musician, who would appear in other jazz fusion projects in those difficult years, and then leave Chile together to do an impressive job abroad with his group Comet. The one and only album by Santa y su Gente, “Urgente,” was released by RCA/IRT/Alba in 1974. This album is very rare, and therefore not well known apart from the collections of a few dj's. But it contains all you can ask for—a scintillating brew of Latin Afro-jazz fusion, with something powerful to say and beats galore. Highly recommended! Comes with a bi-lingual insert which explores the story of Santa y su Gente in the context of the rich Chilean rock music scene.

Nattefrost is Bjørn Jeppesen: All hardware & software synthesizers, vocoders and other various electronic equipment. Danish musician Bjørn Jeppesen is releasing his solo music under the name Nattefrost. It all started in 1995 with a cassette tape including some dark ambient tracks. But Bjørn developed his music and made it more melodic and rhythmic over the years. So far Nattefrost has released 11 albums, 2 EP’s and is included on over 15 compilation CDs worldwide. The new and 12th Nattefrost album entitled “Homeland” includes 6 tracks inspired by ancient Scandinavia. The music is a mixture of orchestral electronic music and vintage electronics with a lot of arpeggio sequences and melodic themes. Very much in the style of the NATTEFROST era 2003-2007. All tracks are instrumental and the title track runs for more than 20 minutes making it the longest NATTEFROST track ever. “Homeland” is available on 180 Gram golden vinyl LP with gatefolded cover.

CINEMA is the current project of Jürgen "Pöngse" Krutzsch, who already was a wellknown Krautrock size with his band TIBET in the Seventies. The project name fits, because the titles of this album run like movies in the mind's eye of the listener.
Pöngse - supported by Brigitte Grafe and guitarist Benjamin Peiser - knows to take this electronic soundtrack every cold and to create an incredibly groovy and trancy melange, reminiscent in some moments of Pink Floyd, but also wakes associations with Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, Mike Oldfield and Schiller. Each title tells you in advance what it is and what musical elements are used. African, oriental and rock rhythms, with organs, choirs, guitars - a plenty of synthesizers and sequencers. For mastering ex-Grobschnitt musician EROC was actually responsible. The result is a musical journey around the world through the digital sound world of the continents that is unparalleled!

Juggernaut got assembled and began to move on its trinkets in the winter of 2006 in Roma. The first step was to evoke a powerful and deep sound to embody the language of metal, the violence of hardcore and a gothic imagery. In 2006 we recorded and self-produced an EP at Hombrelobo Studio in Roma: "Facial Sacrilege: Ballads by the Fireplace”. In December 2007 the blog Neuroprison selected a track from our EP to be included in the compilation “Stones From The Sky”, which had the ambition of representing the Italian post-hc scene at its best. 2009 saw the release of our debut album “…Where Mountains Walk”, also recorded at Hombrelobo and published by Subsound Records (italian label home for bands such as Mombu, Inferno Sci-Fi Grind’n’Roll, Lili Refrain, Zippo, Osso) and shared the stage with Today is the Day, Red Sparowes, A Storm of Light, Amenra, Ephel Duath, Jucifer, Minsk, Slowmotion Apocalypse, Stereochrist, and several bands from the experimental and extreme underground international scene. The road taken, however, is uneven, full of bizarre and unexpected catastrophic events: some pieces are lost and new ones are incorporated. With them on board the coordinates change: the music is now completely instrumental and while maintaining its threatening and visceral features it has developed a cinematic taste and a propensity to evoke grotesque and meditative scenarios. Despite the shocks the forceful artifact never completely ceased to exist: after a long time spent in the rehearsal room writing new music and some test concerts, we entered Hombrelobo Studio to produce our new album. “TRAMA!”

The first step was to evoke a powerful and deep sound to embody the language of metal, the violence of hardcore and a gothic imagery. In 2006 we recorded and self-produced an EP at Hombrelobo Studio in Roma: "Facial Sacrilege: Ballads by the Fireplace”. In December 2007 the blog Neuroprison selected a track from our EP to be included in the compilation “Stones From The Sky”, which had the ambition of representing the Italian post-hc scene at its best. 2009 saw the release of our debut album “…Where Mountains Walk”, also recorded at Hombrelobo and published by Subsound Records (italian label home for bands such as Mombu, Inferno Sci-Fi Grind’n’Roll, Lili Refrain, Zippo, Osso) and shared the stage with Today is the Day, Red Sparowes, A Storm of Light, Amenra, Ephel Duath, Jucifer, Minsk, Slowmotion Apocalypse, Stereochrist, and several bands from the experimental and extreme underground international scene. The road taken, however, is uneven, full of bizarre and unexpected catastrophic events: some pieces are lost and new ones are incorporated. With them on board the coordinates change: the music is now completely instrumental and while maintaining its threatening and visceral features it has developed a cinematic taste and a propensity to evoke grotesque and meditative scenarios. Despite the shocks the forceful artifact never completely ceased to exist: after a long time spent in the rehearsal room writing new music and some test concerts, we entered Hombrelobo Studio to produce our new album. “TRAMA!”

The French singer Dany Tollemer with her unique clear voice and Lutz J. Mays, bassist and composer from Nuremberg, have been found in 2013 at the suggestion of a friend musically. In its congenial interaction creates more than the sum of two musicians. The texts writes Dany Tollemer predominantly in French, sometimes in German or English. She interprets her poetry by her delicate beings with depth and fun, and paints, draws with her voice melodies, sometimes timid, quiet, sometimes determined and powerful. You can hear her smile!
Lutz J. Mays uses unconventional playing styles on different acoustic and electric bass instruments in order to bring mental images through his compositions in the outer world and matching color to text and mood, interpret and express. Moreover, percussion elements set fine accents. On their debut CD "soleil" they tell musical stories that move them, eg the story of the escape of a young African climbing with his hopes in a crowded refugee boat (Ado Africain), the dialog Dany's with their migraine (Migre haine).

Ylja was formed in 2008 by guitarists/singers Gígja Skjaldardóttir and Bjartey Sveinsdóttir in Reykjavík, Iceland. With a common passion for vocal harmonies and love for the acoustic guitar, the two friends embarked on a musical journey – always trying to expand and broaden their sense for creativity. Things took off immediately and Ylja was asked to do shows all over Iceland. As a couple of years passed, the duet was gaining live experience by the handful. Icelandic slide-guitarist Smári Tarfur joined the band in the fall of 2011 and, led by the strong creative vision of the two girls, Ylja’s sound expanded even more. With their dreamy vocal melodies, tasteful guitar riffs accompanied by Smári's unique lap-style slide playing - Ylja's sound was born!
More oportunities came to pass. Three straight Iceland Airwaves Festivals, the annual Bræðslan Festival in the incredible East Fjords, gigs with Grammy Award winner Glen Hansard and even a concert for the Icelandic President made Ylja one of the most exciting live acts of the cold country up North. Their debut album, simply called Ylja, was released in November 2012 – which caused a nice stir in Iceland and the bands popularity kept growing.

There are three certainties in this fucked up world: Death, taxes and Great Falls. Accidents Grotesque – the follow-up to the Seattle trio’s well-regarded 2011 full-length Fontanelle – is a beacon of truth for the godless masses, a dizzying blend of mathematical hardcore and grind in the vein of Narrows and KEN Mode. Guitarist/vocalist Demian Johnston and bassist Shane Mehling are tight bros from way back when and spent the better part of the last decade peddling noise in Playing Enemy and Hemingway; virtuosic drummer Phil Petrocelli (ex-Jesu) has been a fixture in Great Falls since Fontanelle came out. Demian and Shane’s old drum machine is now in a landfill.
All three of the members of Great Falls are creative professionals, so it follows that Accidents Grotesque acts like a giant canvas for the trio’s experiments with positive/negative space and finely-etched arrangements. The intensity of Great Falls’ frenetic live performances is echoed on this intense 37+ minute outpouring, the band’s most fully-realized recording yet. Accidents Grotesque is, in turns, angular and alienating, heart-wrenching and crestfallen. This album does a deep dive to find beauty in ugliness. This is no mean feat, but Great Falls is very much up to the challenge.

Filmed on tour in the United States in 2001, Argentina in 2002 and Germany in 2005, this DVD also includes three previously unrecorded tracks, and marks the debut performance of bassist Laurence Cottle and pianist Gwilym Simcock with the group.

Gole’ is another of Rick’s soundtrack albums taken from the film of the same name which was a sporting feature on the 1982 World Cup. The album features Rick alongside long time percussionist Tony Fernandez and Jackie McAuley former guitarist of the legendary Irish rock band Them. The album has been unavailable for some time and this recording will be the first time it has seen a release on CD and has been re mastered for release which will prove popular with the large Rick Wakeman fan base.
Almost Live In Europe is a live album that has been re worked in the recording studio. Hence the title Almost Live In Europe. The band were recorded during the tour of Europe in Italy in 1995. The line up of the English Rock Ensemble is a strange one as it doesn’t feature a guitarist. On hearing the tapes Rick decided to “fix” the album in the recording studio which accounts for the honest title of the album.

ONE - Pete Lockett is one of the world's leading multi-percussionists. An authority on Indian percussion and an expert on tablas, kanjira, and bongos, he has played and recorded with countless artists including Björk, Peter Gabriel, Robert Plant, Jeff Beck, David Torn, Vikku Vinayakram, Selva Ganesh, Ustad Zakir Hussain, The Verve , Steve Smith, Nitin Sawhney, Afro Celt Sound System , the BBC Concert Orchestra , and David Arnold for the James Bond movies. He is one of the few UK musicians to be honoured with invitations to play in India in the highest circles of Indian classical musicians. Back in 1999 before he was well-known, Lockett toured with Bruford as Network of Sparks and they produced an inventive, culturebusting album called 'One.' The group was a percussion quintet covering many of the disciplines from around the world, in which the Ghanaian and North Indian Dhol traditions rubbed shoulders with progressive jazz and electronics. The music on One is an authoritative guide to the glorious colours available from more sophisticated rhythmic cultures than our own western one, and several of its ideas were carried on into the recent World Drummers Ensemble Summerfold dual-disc with percussionists Bruford, Chad Wackerman, Luis Conte and Doudou N'Diaye Rose.

The band Fright Night was founded at the end of 2005 by a guitar player Marianna Lukyanova. Originally the band was inclined towards gothic rock but quite soon keyboards started playing a paramount role in the overall sound and the music became more complex and melodic. In February 2010 Fright Night released its debut album "The Play Of Pain" on the Jetnoise Records label. The band had a mini-tour over Russia to promote the album which ended with a gig in a Tochka club in Moscow. In November 2010 "The Play Of Pain" was distributed via Ravenheart Music/Code7(England) and in spring 2010 Sonic Cathedral label (USA) and Sleaszy Rider label (Greece) started distributing the album.

Atlanta based MuckRaker, was formed by former BOILER (Mayhem/Atlantic recording artists) member, Will Price (Bass, Lead Vocals) in 2010. After several member changes, and the 2010 release of a 4 song EP entitled "Sound the Alarm", Ray Mulligan (Guitar, Vocals) joined the band in late 2010. Capo (Drums) joined MuckRaker in the early summer of 2011MuckRaker released their full length debut, “Big Black Bus”, in 2012.
"If you wanted to really strip MuckRaker down to its barest of bones, you would have to say that they are full of just great songs, and that’s basically the essence of why we’re all here.
