Conceived in New Jersey from its emerging DIY scene from the late ‘90s, cult hop-hop trio DÄLEK were known as pioneers over the last fifteen years or so of an intriguing sound which fused a blend of progressive hip-hop artistry supported by a rhythmic backdrop consisting of sonic experimentation through noise music and dark ambient (they would be dubbed by journalists as what would happen when you mix Public Enemy and My Bloody Valentine). Their singularity would be highlighted in four defining milestone full-length albums released on Mike Patton’s Ipecac Recordings (one of them being their “Absence” masterpiece LP from 2005), along with live actions where the band would support the likes of Tool and The Melvins, and even collaborate with the likes of artists such as Faust. In Spring 2015 mastermind MC Dälek (a.k.a. Will Brooks, with the blessing of ex-member/co-producer Oktopus) revived DÄLEK after a hiatus with a new lineup which now includes DJ rEk and Mike Swarmbots and are now preparing to release their new album “Asphalt For Eden” which will be the first official DÄLEK release since their last full-length, 2009’s “Gutter Tactics”. “Asphalt For Eden” sees a new creative peak for DÄLEK and will bring a new awareness for this cult hip-hop entity now resurrected once again and ready to show a formidable display of true hip hop artistry and experimentation through their new album and the plethora of touring the band have planned in support of it. A band which many see as one of the most genuine underground DIY hip hop iconoclasts.

GERYON is a two-man NY-based avant-garde technical prog-death metal band comprised of one half of KRALLICE, namely bassist/vocalist Nicholas McMaster and drummer Lev Weinstein.
Solely through bass guitar, drums, and vocals, GERYON conjure a singular vision through complex layers and meticulously crafted tones where dissonance and melody maintain that equilibrium though the band’s chaotic sound. Taking from the blueprint through the duo’s experience in Krallice and Astomatous (the two-piece band McMaster and Weinstein had years before joining Krallice while they were Chicago-based, which was also a progressive metal outfit that consisted only of bass, drums, and vocals), GERYON while seemingly stripped down to the bare minimum without any electric guitars in the mix whatsoever, the sounds that conjure from the duo’s new album “The Wound And The Bow” (which follows 2013’s selftitled debut) present an enveloping and overwhelming sound picture. A bizarre, strange yet unforgettable and twisted sonic journey to behold.

Following their debut full length “Solus” self released in 2013, Bardus has been creating a name for themselves through DIY touring and playing support for national acts. Bardus was chosen by Metalsucks to take part in their collaboration with Converse Rubber Tracks in 2014 which helped them reach more people ears. Continued touring and support has brought them to where they’re at today. Over the next years two demos were recorded, “Blasphemic War” and “Raped by Svarttjern”, but SVARTTJERN were still working towards their own sound, so not much time was given to the demos afterwards. In 2007, SVARTTJERN parted ways with Skabb, and Terror came in on the bass, bringing fresh blood. The band was now ready to record a three track demo to finally show the sound they had been working on for so many years. “Demo 07” was sent out to labels and only printed in very few numbers for sale. SVARTTJERN signed to Schwarzdorn Production and released their debut album “Misanthropic Path of Madness” in 2009, which received great feedback and reviews from all over the world. The second full-length, "Towards the Ultimate", was released in 2011 via Agonia Records and took their extreme art to the next level. Between 2012 and 2013, SVARTTJERN mostly focused on playing live shows and chose to end their bond with Agonia Records. In 2014 the third album "Ultimatum Necrophilia" was released by NoiseArt Records and showed an even more brutal side. Later that year the band managed to get on tour with some of the most iconic bands within the scene, namely Behemoth, Cradle of Filth, Inquisition and In Solitude. "At the behest of our good friends over at This Charming Man Records, I’ve been sat on this for a while now, and being a long term diehard fan of the band, it fair to say it’s nearly killed me. I will however open with this – For those of you who have followed Mountain Witch over the years, you may be somewhat taken a back by trio’s most recent sound. It’s out with the traditional sombre doom-groove and in with something wholly more, well, retro. Fortunately the change to the band’s dynamic has been pretty gradual, with the introduction of a third member and the subsequent release of Cold River, the band laid the ground work for what they have progressed to today. So the exchange of fuzz to funk shouldn’t pose too much of a shock to the system. Fear not though, when I say that (often dreaded) four letter F word, they’ve not gone all stacked heels and slap bass. Don’t think Bootsy Collins, no, instead imagine if Grand Funk had one day picked up a Ouija board and got heavily into the works of Aleister Crowley and Vincent Price, then gone on to release We’re an American Doom Band… this is exactly how that would have sounded. Straight out of the gates Burning Village states it’s new and uncompromising intentions and opening with a subtle use of Hammer-House-esque samples they’ve managed to reaffirm that not all of the band’s doom heavy origins have been cast to the back burner. Not by a long shot. While the tone, song structure and production all feel like they’ve been pulled right out of the early 70′s the trio have managed to craft something that by the same token still feels heavily modern and unique. Not that the aforementioned is in anyway a band thing. Hell, I long for a return to those simpler, analogue days, and after the bitter disappointment that was Uncle Acid’s Night Creeper earlier in the year, it’s fantastic to hear an album that can actually conjure up all that retro feeling and essence while not feeling precocious or like the audible equivalent of watching paint dry. Sure, many of you’ve become akin to the slower and darker of the band’s first three outings may not be instantly won over or drawn to Burning Village, I urge you to give it a few listens. Once the initial shock of the change has settled in, you can, and no doubt will, see exactly what this album is – An absolute powerhouse of early 70′s inspired occult rock filled with more satisfying riff hungry eeriness than a Pentagram encore at a black mass under a full moon on October 31st." ~ Jay – Ride With The Devil

White Wine began as a solo project of Joe Haege (31knots, Tu Fawning, Menomena, Dodos). It was simply a place for his ideas that didn't fit his other bands. After writing and recording 2 albums ("Chromakey" on Polyvinyl Records and "In Every Way But 1" on Discolexique records) he made a plan to tour Europe as a way to visit friends. Not one for having a laptop as his bandmate, he asked his good friend, Fritz Brückner, who was the sound man for Tu Fawning and Menomena, to be his band for the tour. Without a computer they managed to put together a set that had each of them playing synths, guitars, drums, bass, samples…and sometimes all in 1 song. The tour went incredibly well by all accounts. Presented with the offer of a cheap apartment right next door to Fritz's, Joe found himself, only a few months later, at a crossroads that his words will explain best: "I was in my mid 30's, my entire adult life focussed on music/acting/art. No kids, no girlfriend. I was living in LA, the crown Jewel of American excess, success, failure and synthetic life. How could I not jump at the chance to put the romance of Europe into a more realistic view while creating more music?" Now a year and a half later they have built their own recording studio (Haunted Haus Studios) completed a new album, "Who Cares What The Laser Says?" (This Charming Man Records) and gained another member, Chistian "Kirmes" Kühr (Zentral Heizung Des Todes). Having now reverted to a conventional 3 piece lineup, they are doing anything but playing it safe. Brückner has finally integrated his skills as a classically trained bassoon player into the band, while Haege is once again putting his penchant for cheap theater antics to work with the new stage show, and the endless supply of ability and talent in Mr. Kühr has only begun to show itself in with intense drumming and guitar playing. For the immediate future White Wine will be touring in support of their soon-to-be released album and doing what they can to showcase the humanity in music: the madness, the fun, the sadness, the creepiness and the endless complications. Without a computer they managed to put together a set that had each of them playing synths, guitars, drums, bass, samples…and sometimes all in 1 song. The tour went incredibly well by all accounts. Presented with the offer of a cheap apartment right next door to Fritz's, Joe found himself, only a few months later, at a crossroads that his words will explain best: "I was in my mid 30's, my entire adult life focussed on music/acting/art. No kids, no girlfriend. I was living in LA, the crown Jewel of American excess, success, failure and synthetic life. How could I not jump at the chance to put the romance of Europe into a more realistic view while creating more music?" Now a year and a half later they have built their own recording studio (Haunted Haus Studios) completed a new album, "Who Cares What The Laser Says?" (This Charming Man Records) and gained another member, Chistian "Kirmes" Kühr (Zentral Heizung Des Todes). Having now reverted to a conventional 3 piece lineup, they are doing anything but playing it safe. Brückner has finally integrated his skills as a classically trained bassoon player into the band, while Haege is once again putting his penchant for cheap theater antics to work with the new stage show, and the endless supply of ability and talent in Mr. Kühr has only begun to show itself in with intense drumming and guitar playing. For the immediate future White Wine will be touring in support of their soon-to-be released album and doing what they can to showcase the humanity in music: the madness, the fun, the sadness, the creepiness and the endless complications. However, it was recorded on a shoestring budget, although the power and melodic beauty of this record transcends any birthing obstacles.Cosmic Rough Riders are best known for their 100,000 selling (Silver in the UK), 2001 album "Enjoy The Melodic Sunshine", which was released on Alan McGee's short lived Poptones imprint. ETMS produced two top 40 UK singles. The band appeared on Top of the Pops and performed sold out tours of the UK, Europe, Japan and the USA. Writer and producer of ETMS album, Daniel Wylie, has reactivated his original band name for this new album.Recorded at La Chunky Studios in Glasgow, "Chrome Cassettes", opens with the Neil Youngesque, balls out, "Yesterdays's a Waste of Time", a six and a half minute, melodic scorcher with stunning end solos by album co‐producer Johnny Smillie. The focus for the most part is on loud guitars and Wylie's trademark ultra tuneful melodies. There are also a few musical diversions into Beck style fucked up acoustic folk.Daniel Wylie still records all his new song ideas and demos straight to C90 Chrome Cassettes, on an old 80s ghetto blaster and that's where the idea for the album title came from.

So who on earth are The Carousels? Hailing from the distillery town of Keith in north‐east Scotland, best known as the home of Chivas Regal whisky, the band have existed in various shapes and forms since 2010. The Carousels formed out of necessity; to carry on in the fine tradition of bands from their area. They come from a place where the likes of The Byrds, Gram Parsons and Gene Clark are still as important to people as they always were and this shines through in their music. Indeed, the great art of the melody, the soaring harmony and the chiming jangle of the twelve‐string have been passed down, taught and copied like some kind of ancient musical recipe. It's true, The Carousels exist in many ways like a collective, with band members old and new dropping in and out whenever suits. Once a Carousel, always a Carousel, if you will. The band's debut LP 'Sweet Northern Light' followed on from the well‐received 'Call Along The Coast' EP and was written and recorded in their hometown and mastered by Mike Denton of The Lucid Dream. It also fell on the back of a host of successful high‐profile gigs, not least a sell‐ out show at The Cavern Club in Liverpool as part of 2012's International Pop Overthrow Festival. Furthermore, a feature on that performance appeared in the local Liverpool press, where they received a nod of approval from Barry Sutton of The La's, one of their all‐time favourite bands. The Carousels' sets at the legendary Northern Star Records Weekenders were well received and new LP 'Love Changes Like The Seasons' (2014). And now, two new tracks included on a beautiful 7” Vinyl!

Dub Invaders announces the release of 4 E.P.s and one LP in 2016, and the collective strengthens its presence within the ever growing dub scene. Dub scene activists since the early 2000’s, High Tone has continuously evolved their music throughout their albums, constantly exploring new soundscapes, ready to free themselves from their own codes to create an hybrid and modern sound. Founded in 2009 with the release of a first opus and a sound-system tour, the entity Dub Invaders enables the members of High Tone crew to revive the original spirit of a culture that shaped, influenced and inspired them from their start. In 2012, a second album comes out, full of outstanding featurings (El Fata, Zeb Mc Queen, Solo Banton, Echo Ranks). The collective then embarks upon a French tour alongside the O.B.F. and Dub Addict sound systems, followed by some international gigs (Dour Festival, Tokyo Dub, St Petersburg,…). Of course, High Tone are anything but beginners, as, some sound-system-stamped escapades, that naturally paved the way to the Dub Invaders project, can already be found among their extensive discography.

Infra and Ultra received great public & critical acclaim and is considered a “return to form” album with “eyes well fixed on the future”.
Ultra is the other half of the double story, the story of two double albums with twenty unique tracks which announce twenty years of Siddharta.

The band was formed in 1994 by the guitarist Steve Minelli. The style they played at that time was a mix between death-metal and grind-core enriched by very good technical and song writing arrangiaments. In September 1995 the Node line up was completely turned over, with the new vocalist/guitarist Gary D’Eramo, new bass player Klaus Mariani, new drummer John Manti and Steve Minelli of course, Node released in December 1995 the second demo “Ask”. “Sweatshops”, this is the name of their 2nd full lenght, was out in February 2002 through Scarlet. The style seems to be a mix between the wide classic/heavy atmospheres with an obsessive and aggressive interpretation of the north-european death metal. In August they are ready to record a new album: “Das Kapital”. This album was a big surprise for all (fans & critics). In the beginning of 2005, band decided to enter the studio anyway, without the label’ support… Recording the fourth album, still at the Underground Studio. “As God Kills” is the name of the fourth full length album was mastered by Goran Finnberg (The Mastering Room), it was published by the german label Massacre Records on 20 May 2006. They soon start working on their 5th album. “In The End Everything is a Gag”, the new chapter in Node’s adventure is expected to be released on January 2010.
