Arthur Lee (1945-2006) was a founding member of the legendary Los Angeles rock band Love (1965-1971). Post the band’s break up, Arthur released a number of solo albums and in his later years, created a band called Love, revisited which toured the world. Love’s “Forever Changes” album regularly ranks in the top tier of Best Albums of All Time lists. Rolling Stone’s survey of the Top 500 albums of all time from 2003 ranked the album at #40.
"Coming Through To You" features 61 tracks over four CD'S worth of unreleased material recorded between 1970-2004.The package features many photos from Arthur’s personal collection, many never seen before. As the then new VHS market was completely unregulated, these editions were not required to be submitted to the BBFC, meaning the releases were completely uncensored - soon leading to the "video nasties" outrage. Today these tapes are sought after items on the collector's market. With his Cineploit debut, Magnus Sellergren set out to further and improve on the concept of Videogram's previous "S/T" 2014 album. Inspiration was drawn from the same sources as the previous full length effort, with the key words being bigger, better, and more produced. The result is an album created during a six-month period, between January and June 2015, starting with a total of thirty-some tracks that were written, then re-written - in some cases even completely rearranged - polished, and finally whittled down to a thirteen-track, 40+ minute full length LP/CD. Starting off with the now-familiar Videogram idents, Pre-Cert covers an assortment of classic genre-influenced sounds; from occult horror, 1980s Cannon action, thrillers and post-apocalyptics to "cannibal freakouts" (as he affectionately calls them), Italian-produced erotica, 1970s Spanish horror, the iconic Friday the 13th series and climaxing with a mammoth five-part, 13- minute tribute to John Carpenter's sci-fi horror classic "The Thing". The journey Videogram started in 2014 is now taking a huge step forward, offering the same amount of affection for the VHS format and genres as his previous efforts, but more focused, polished and well executed! Since their inception in 2010, the ascent of Jess and her Ancient Ones has been astounding. Since then the collective have thinned their herd from seven to six, and spent months with minds locked inwards together, perfecting their craft and cultivating what was to become their second album. This autumn equinox it was signalled that the hour of the Second Psychedelic Coming had come at last and work on the album complete. And what rough beast it is! Second Psychedelic Coming: The Aquarius Tapes will be released on CD, double LP and digital formats on December 4th. First single cut off the album is the ode to Albert Hoffmann, In Levitating Secret Dreams, to which there will also be a suitably mindbending music video by Romanian artist Costin Chioreanu. This dark keyboard-driven occult garage rocker will also be available on a limited vinyl 7" on November 6th.

Night Viper are a hot-rockin' heavy metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden. The first two ingredients in the Viper pie were Sofie Lee Johansson and Tom Sutton (Horisont, The Order Of Israfel, ex-Church Of Misery). As soon as they met, the chemistry started flying and some pure fist-banging heavy metal demos were thrown down. They were joined briefly by Sven Nilsson from Antichrist on drums as well as a few others on guitar and bass, but it was once swing master Jonna Karlsson was behind the kit that things started really moving. The folk-tastic stylings of Emil Ridderstolpe on guitar and the fast fingers of Ruben Åhlander Persson (Miasmal) on bass completed the lineup.
"We love it," says guitarist Tom Sutton of Night Viper. "We recorded all the basic tracks live together, and I think you can really hear the excitement in the room. It's very organic-sounding, and will remind people of the heavy metal classics they love, while still being very current and very unique. It's not a tribute to any era in any way. There's elements of Kill 'em All-era Metallica, Judas Priest, Entombed, and the more metal side of Motörhead, along with some Pentagram or Coven-type spookiness. "

"Gnosis" is the second part in a series of shorter and more experimental releases that Spectral Lore has undertaken for 2015, each focusing on a specific style, as opposed to a regular SL full-length, which is a collection of all kinds of music. The album was born out of the idea of experimenting with oriental music, using a metal instrumentation. It was decided by Ayloss not to study the music beforehand, but to invoke the unconscious remembrance of it (one that is very present in the substratum of Greek folk music and culture) in order to get it out distorted and mixed, hopefully in an interesting way, with the usual elements of metal and western scales, to create thusly a kind of fusion. This concept brought forth several ideas, which became the basis for not only the lyrics of the album, but for a wider philosophical and spiritual meditation which took place around the making of the album. Gnosis is a greek word meaning "Knowledge" and is used in the sense of mystical enlightenment. The synthesis of opposites, of conscious and unconscious, of the seemingly opposing cultures of East and West, of body and "soul", rationality and irrationality, to attain higher levels of reality. "Gnosis" goes as far as to propose a kind of evolutionary, emerging (out of matter) spirituality, in which man lies in an important place as part of the cosmos.

First official reissue of the second Krokodil album, "Swamp". The infectious album, originally issued by Liberty in 1970, shows a band in flux between the scorching boogie-blues workouts of their eponymous debut and the massive stoned psych action of their third album masterpiece ("An Invisible World Revealed,"). Many German and Swiss groups attempted to sing in English to broaden their audience and virtually all failed to do so. Yet "Swamp" reveals itself to be one of the best examples of this phenomena, venturing into Van Morrison, Fairport Convention, and even Wailers territory at times, even as the rest of the band experimented with sitars, flutes and avant percussion. A great artistic development for the band without ever drifting into pop clichés. Recorded at Bavaria-Tonstudios, München. Comes on 180-gram vinyl, presented in a gatefold sleeve with an embossed crocodile leather front cover. The printed inner sleeve offers many previously unpublished photographs.

Jacqueline Thibault (Laurence Vanay) often worked for other artists at the legendary Château d’Hérouville studio as arranger, keyboardist, co-composer, and assistant sound engineer. Between sessions she sometimes managed to record her own music. Several years after her two acknowledged masterpieces, "Galaxies" and "Evening Colours," she was able to bring together the tracks for “La Petite Fenêtre” (The Little Window). As the 1970's ended, trouble with the Château finances meant that again it was impossible for her to present her work to interested record labels. Instead, "I worked in another recording studio in Paris for fashionable artists," she said, "and I managed after a time to resume and complete my unfinished songs." By that time, the French record companies were not interested in instrumental music anymore. The recordings therefore found themselves asleep on Parisian shelves, pending potential better days. Sublime compositions: unique, melancholic and very powerful.

The album was recorded in the studio of Mauro Fiero, who also produced the album with Matteo Finali and Dario Milan, “It was truly an extraordinary experience,” says Matteo Finali. “Mauro’s studio is very large, so we came up with the idea to record our album in front of an audience to capture the unique atmosphere of a live concert. The chemistry between the band and the audience was fantastic!” An intensity that can be felt throughout the entire album. The rousing electric guitar solos by band frontman Matteo Finali are perfectly placed highlights in an excellent ensemble full of natural showmanship, for which he leaves plenty of room for creativity. “Many of the songs I wrote years ago,” explains Matteo Finali, when asked about how he selected songs for the album, “the new band members elevate them to an entirely new level.” The result is an intense piece of jazz, with influences just as diverse, original and surprising as Ticino.

The in 1990 released album "The Fruits of Sin & Labor" by THE PERC MEETS THE HIDDEN GENTLEMAN is generally regarded as a link between the first two minimalist albums "Two Foozles at The Tea Party" and "This Maid Of Delphi" and the more opulent successful third and fourth albums "Lavender" and "Ages". 1990, Emilio "The Hidden Gentleman" Winschetti and Tom "The Perc" Redecker have been on the road to present their latest album "Maid of Delphi" live. Before they left for the south of France, in order to develop their next album (that became "Lavender"), their record label Strange Ways Records wanted to release another single with the brand new song "Bronx Vanilla" to bridge. Tom and Emilio had another idea, an album with a studio A side and a live B side. With the new "Bronx Vanilla" and some unreleased studio tracks on one side and live recordings from the legendary club Forum Enger 1989 on the other side. So in September 1990. "The Fruits of Sin & Labor" appeared in a limited edition of 2000 copies - only on vinyl. For a lot of fans just "Fruits of Sin & Labor" means the most iconic album, so unabashedly cheeky the two musicians should never act again. Now, almost two and a half decades later, here comes the first publication on CD. The Russian text on the back of the panel (also printed on the CD cover) was written by journalist Ygor Yerenev and comes from the official newspaper of the Soviet armed forces, which were at that time stationed in East Germany.

The Anatomy of Frank formed in 2011 in Charlottesville, VA, and consists of Kyle Woolard on guitar and vocals, Erik Larsen on guitar, Jonas Creason on bass, Jimmy Bullis on keyboards, and Max Bollinger on drums. Within a few months of playing their first show, the band left for a 4-month tour of North America, traveling as far as Alaska before returning home. Its cheerful and energetic first half, along with its moody, sprawling latter half, foreshadow the band's more consistent later work. The album spawned numerous North American tours and six European tours, including the band's famous 15-show stints at the Iceland Airwaves music festival.
